Feel the Fury

Yeah, so I had 5.6M sitting in my bank for the past month or so, and I was doing nothing with it, so I decided to buy an Amulet of Fury. Costs ~4M. Over priced in my opinion but I'm most likely going to re-sell it once I'm done with my combat goals.

It seems to be helping right now. Basically it's a more powerful version of the Amulet of Glory. Nothing really special about it other than it's somewhat of a fashion.

Monkey Madness!

Pesky Gorillas! All we want is to pray...

Love this training spot. Basically what you do is bring Prayer increasing armor or Monk Robes to keep your prayer on longer. Then you attack a level 167 Monkey Guard. They have fairly low defence for their level so you can hit them easily. If you don't have Protect from Melee though they hit hard. See that golden gorilla behind me? That's a prayer alter. So you have unlimited Protect from Melee prayer so they can never hit you. To make it even better experience, the Monkey Guards heal themselves when they get low Hitpoints. Beastly!

Into the Great Blue Beyond

Wow, this had me totally captivated. Take a look.

Can you imagine being up there? Just soaring in the clouds along with birds and planes. Of course in the beginning of the video you see it's obviously extremely bulky and heavy as it took two men to load it into the plane. They even had some trouble. This is really one of the most amazing video I've seen.

The Return of the Ranger

The endless rants in the official forums: "Range is under powered!" Well no more, thanks to the new crossbow update released by Jagex on June 18, 2007. They are much more powerful now, and even hit faster, making them an all around more effective weapon. They now rival Karil's X-Bow. The highest I've hit is a 22 with a Rune Crossbow and normal Mithril Bolts.

They can hit much more however. This is the highest hit I have ever seen.

Great update Jagex, rangers are back!

Another update we have is an update to the Anti-Dragonfire Shield. It now has the option of being upgraded. Here are a few pictures I have found.

Here is a picture of the shield.

The shield starts off somewhat weak. It can be charged by letting it take fire from Dragons however. The more fire, the stronger it is.

This is the shields stats when fully charged.

Attack: Slash +0 Stab +0 Crush +0 Magic -10 Range -5
Defence: Slash +70 Stab +75 Crush +72 Magic +10 Range +72

Also a whopping +7 Strength bonus, making this a very good shield.

---

Once you have the shield fully charged, you also have the option of unleashing all the uncharged power at your enemy. I haven't heard of any significant hits yet, but I've heard it's powerful. Here is an image of the shield discharging.

---

To make this shield you need to get a Dragon Visage from a powerful Dragon (Red and up, also Metal Dragons). These aren't common however! Apparently they're fairly rare (about as hard as getting a Dragon Medium Helmet from a Fire Giant). So far they're going for about 25M on the official Runescape forums.

You also need 90 Smithing (if you don't want to pay Oziach to make it for you, which costs 1.25M). Making this shield also gives 2,000 Smithing Experience.

---

As a treat, here is what the Dragonfire shield's special attack looks like.

Another high level update, good job Jagex!

The Whip

I miss my old whip. Back before when I had my other account I couldn't live without my whip. I really want to get it back now, a Dragon Scimitar isn't proving to be enough power for me.

How will I do this? Well the picture directly above here explains it. I'm just going to kill Experiments (Level - 25) until 70 Attack. My current level is level 66.

I'll edit this whenever I get a level up. Can't wait!
